Step 9Add the Xbee Modules

The Adafruit adapter and Xbee module fit snugly just behind the USB socket on the arduino. In the picture, hopefully you can see the folded card insert insulating the module from other components.
The Xbee adapter makes it easy to connect to the Arduino with a 5v supply as the Xbees themselves require 3.3v.
>> Solder & connect 4x wires to the Arduino pins:
- +5v
- Gnd
- TX (xbee) to RX (arduino)
- RX (xbee) to TX (arduino)
Note: If you haven't yet built the Xbee Adapter kit and you're using XbeePro modules, be aware that the capacitor on the adapter board should lay down flat against the PCB. Otherwise the Xbee doesn't quite fit into the adapter headers.
